Illegal Foreign Amnesty

April 11, 2014 issued by foreign history Protection Act came into oblivion with foreigners in illegal situation in Turkey. This amnesty has been extended until April 30, 2015 together with the new year, the first stage until 31 December, 2014.

Which foreigners can benefit from the amnesty?

Leak case can benefit from amnesty, regardless of the length of time that each foreign violated in Turkey. To benefit from the amnesty should be made primarily out entry and exit should be paid the penalty for violation of the calculated time. 5 year ban from the departing without paying the penalty will be applied.

Wishing to benefit from the amnesty and foreign nationals departing paying the penalty they can enter the country on the same day or the next day. However, a residence permit within 10 days prior to the entry application that they did not sign the undertaking is required.

Undertaking signed but not make contact within 10 days (date of application shall be deemed the date of appointment of the residents in Istanbul, so it is sufficient to make an appointment within 10 days), foreign applications will not be accepted and will fall back to the illegal situation.
